Lovely old pub, a bit too touristy, but hardly the fault of the inn. Popped into the lounge for a drink and a ton of under 10 kids running amuck was not what I expected. Beyond that, good selection of drinks, not horrid price considering the heavy tourist presence. Food smelled great, if we were not looking for seafood, may have had supper here. Great location, cool lounge and a view.

Awesome historic pub right on the Oban waterfront. We sat upstairs and enjoyed some Tennents and talked about the beautiful stained glass windows.

Such a lovely place. I was able to stop in twice, the second time soaking wet from getting caught in the rain but it was marvelous. Tasty ales on cask and tap and the kitchen was yummy too

The bartender is really kind. The guys in the kitchen as well as bartender are inslanely fast, we traveled all day and we were really hungry(and thirsty ). The food tasted amazing. 100% recommend!

Last night in Oban, dinner on a oak barrel by the sea and ultimate whisky inside. Let’s start from dinner. My last chance to try traditional food from here, haggis and black pudding for me, steak ale pie for my wife. I didn’t know what to expect but I must say that it really impressed me. Rich taste and surprising texture. For my last whisky in Scotland, I asked for the peatiest one, the guy at the bar suggested me the Springbank 10y, the best choice ever. All the staff always wears a smile for you and is very kind. Also live music cheers you up combined with lovely people around you. Last but not least, you must see this place also for its importance, it is the oldest building in town, established in 1790!

All in all a wonderful place to shelter out of the rain and enjoy fish and chips plus a pint of local beer. Wonderful bar man and waiter.

There are two levels to the pub. We ended up getting lucky with a table upstairs, but it was extremely busy when we were there ~6pm. Drinks and food were fantastic. About a 40 minute wait for food but the bangers and mash (pictured) was excellent. Also got the pub curry and it was tasty. Everyone was so friendly and it was all reasonably priced.

What a great pub in Oban. Went in alone for a pint of Tennents at the bar. An hour later - I was drinking with my newfound Scottish (and quite humerous) friends. Wonderful pub that promotes mingling. Also - Great bartenders.
